Steel gears for special applications

Using the same design criteria, namely choosing the best value for each of the toothing parameters, even different from standard values, it is possible to design steel gears with very high performance.

As it was not possible to photograph the gears in working position, the right picture shows the gears 1 and 2 close up, but not in working position, to highlight the different circular thickness of the teeth. This difference has been chosen in order to transmit the maximum torque and at the same time have a high contact ratio for the noise reduction.
